we spontaneously drove to france yesterday for a quick getaway!

we live by the border & strasbourg is starting to feel like my second home. HAHA

i still have to wait two weeks before my summer vacation starts, so this has to do for the moment.

i am back in good ol germany!

as much as i enjoyed my short (but sweet) trip, i am glad to be back in my laid back town.

i love the underground, the busy streets, the double decker buses in london but

i have gotten used to living in this small town with the familiar faces.

there´s just no place like home!

anyway, i´ll show you what i bought next time!

VENICE.

1. clothesline outside the window. you can´t get more italian than that!
2. venice stinks but it´s soo pretty, so that makes up for that. and for the pigeons too.
3. if you´re on a romantic trip, take a gondola. but if you´re up to adventure, take the water taxi!
4. i bought this super delicate and pretty mask from a young lady´s shop where she made almost all of the masks on display. i am talking 2000+? and she can vividly remember how she did every single one of them.
i could have stayed there all day and listen to her mask stories.
AMAZING.
5. coffee prices may vary according to: a. if you sit outside with music playing along. b. if you sit inside without the view and the music. and c. if you stand up at the bar without the view, the music and the chair. HILARIOUS, no?

hey guys!
just a quick update (as always) as we are about to run again!
yesterday, we took my family to the strasbourg cathedral. one of my favorite churches in europe. ;)
the last time we brought them there, it was christmas, so it was all jampacked with people and christmas stands. now it was just like amazing and peaceful.
i wish i could blog as fast as we visit different cities in a span of one week.
anyway, isn´t the weather such a pain in the ass?
can´t it just make up his head already?

got this sequined jacket on the actual h&m sale for 9 euros! it´s from the mama department.
who says we´re not allowed to buy there? besides i am a mother so i think this one´s made for me. :)
as i told you, we went to strasbourg yesterday for some shopping. i love it there.
seriously the sales should stop right now. or just lock me up then i´m good!

´tis the season to be freezing.

just a quick update from freezing poland!
i hate wearing tons of layers (i look like i am 50 kilos heavier) but what can i do?
it´s either that or die. seriously, can it be any colder?
anyways, WE ARE HAVING A BLAST HERE!
the food, the cheap taxis, our hotel in the middle of the city and its bar and restaurant, PERFECT!

we only had one day to go to the beach.. too bad.
but it was worth it.
